simple page question

Is there something I can do so that if I tell people to go to
www.mysite.com/deals it will take them to www.mysite.com/deals.htm ? (Right
now it gives me a 404 page can not be found if I leave off the .htm)

I'm looking for an easier way to get people to a specific page in my site
with my advertising and I want to keep the url as simple as possible. And I
don't want to just direct them to my main page because I want an easier way
to track the effectiveness of the advertising.

make "deals" a folder.
Put the page of deals inside the folder, naming it whatever the host
requires for your default page, such as index.htm, index.html..whatever you
normally use for a default page such as your home page.
