I have a laptop that is setup to connect to our office lan
which provides internet access. I log into the office
domain at the office. I want to use the laptop at home
where i will log on locally to the laptop and connect to
my home internet cable provider using the same built in
network card. There doesn't seem to be a way to create a
second 'home' network connection which would have
different ip settings then the office connnection.

is there a way to do this? (XP Pro)

A lot of people use a third-party connection manager, like the one from
Globesoft.
