HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4167B

I am having trouble with my HL-DT-ST-DVDRAMGSA-4167B dvd burner. I
recently downloaded an updated trial of cyberlink and nero. When the
trial period was over, I could not go back to using the software that
came with my LG burner. I uninstalled the newer versions that I
downloaded. Put in the CD that came with the burner. I thought it
downloaded but now the burner does not work at all. In the device
manager it states that it cannot find the hardware device (Code 41).
The program shows up in the device manager with an exclamation point.
Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

I found the problem, it is now fixed.

I searched this site and found a similar problem posted by Birdland.
It was very helpful. I followed the Article ID 31460 instructions and
voila.
