Hitting Send / Receive is giving me errors

Hi. I have Vista and had installed MacAfee antivirus yesterday. Discovered
I couldn't move messages to folders so uninstalled MacAfee and downloaded
OneLive. Fine.

Now in Windows Mail, messages will download when I first open the program,
but after that, when I hit Send / Receive, it says "Some errors occurred
while processing this requested tasks. Please review the list of errors
below for more details." However, it doesn't show any errors.

In the past, when I got this message, it was because a server was down or
some such thing, and it listed the errors, but now -- nothing.

What gives?

McAfee AV can cause account corruption.

You can get the McAfee removal tool to clean up the left over debris, here:
http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?id=TS100507

Read the instructions.

You will probably still have to remove and recreate the account afterwards?

Note all the settings on each tab of your account before you remove it,
tools>accounts>select your account>properties.
Then close the Properties and use the Remove button.
Close/Reopen WM then rebuild the account, using the Add button, you will not
lose any mail.

I am having the same problem, though I am not running McAfee, as I never
liked it. I had to do a complete Vista OS recovery install, and ever since
then it does the same thing. The "send/receive all" causes the error to show
up, though with a blank details window, but if I click on the menu next to
the button, and it gives that choice along with the others, like "send all"
and "Receive all" those will work by themselves, but not combined. I have no
idea where the glitch started, but after I installed everythng back in, this
problem came up. I will put this to the big boys when I get them back on the
line tomorrow, as I have been working on another problem with them for over a
week, and this is one of the results of the recovery. If I find something
pertaining to this problem, I will return with the answer.

I am running NIS 2009 as my security and have had no problems yet for 2
years on this system.
