Hitachi Deskstar 180GB Hard Drive

Hi....
Without checking Windows XP website for compatability I
purchased a Deskstart 180GB Hard Drive. Bios sees the
drive but WinXP does not. Has anyone installed a drive of
this size in WinXP Home edition. If so, would be kind
enough and walk me through the process?

You'll need to install SP1 as that will have 48 bit LBA support.
