hit counters no longer work in Front Page 2003

I have been creating and using hit counters with
Microsoft Front Page for the past several years using
earlier versions of Front Page.

I just upgraded to Front Page 2003 and when I create hit
counters on my web pages, a red x appears or a number 1
that never increments beyond 1, not matter how many times
I reload the page.

I upgraded the Server Extensions as well. All my old
counters continue to function properly. However, if I
delete and old working counter and try to readd it, I get
the same problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

All of my recent frustration with Front Page 2003 is
making me so so sorry that I tried to upgrade.

I get the same problem and my forms don't work either. I
added all the extensions also. Any ideas anybody I will
also appreciated.
