HIT COUNTER

I'm using FP 2002. I had a web site with more than 48,000
hits. The host changed the files to another server, and
in so doing lost the number of hits. I went to FrontPage
Component Properties and checked the box to reset the
counter, put 48000, and published the page. But when I
view the website, the counter has not reset.

What more can I do?

Do it on the live page on the server and save the page.
