Hit counter refused to be reset 0, even with reinstalled

I'm using MS Office 2003 on Windows XP

In Frontpage I am unable to get the hit counter to reset 0, even with
reinstalled. The procedure is clear, it just does not work.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Have you tried resetting it in the live page on the server??
