After updateing home page in my web site which included changing the style of
hit counter, the hit counter is now not recording the number of hit.

Please let me know what I should do to correct this problem.

I am running FrontPage 2002 on Windows XP Home Edition

Thank you very much for your help

How did you "make" the hit counter.
Is it a custom image??
If a custom image is the width evenly divisible by 10??
Did you make it like this: 0123456789 ??
It must start with zero.
Did you make it a .gif image??

Here is a link to a custom hit counter image:

I had a hit counter installed and working okay until recently. Just
deleted and reinstalled from componets in fp 2003 in another and
worked fine. I think the prior location was to narrow after doing some
editing.

I assume you have published the page.....if you're testing on XP Home - this does
not come with IIS so the server extensions can not be used on a local system.

Can you provide the URL please?

Hi Steve
The hit counter I selected and used was from FrontPage's preset counter
graphics.

Thank you for your help.

Hi Andrew

Yes I have published my new revised web site. I had also changed to a
different style of hit counter found in FrontPage. Prior to this latest
updated my site had a hit counter selected from FrontPage that was working.
