hit counter problem

I have been using GoDaddy as my web hosting site. They have fronpage
extensions installed and I have installed them in my web sites usnig the
tools - page options - compatibility settings. The hit counter works in my
mian site, but the hit counters do not work in my alias sites. Any
suggestions are appreciated.

The hit counter will only work on the site the extensions are installed on, and this also depends on
the how the web host configures the extensions.

Many GoDaddy users have various issues with the way GoDaddy has the extensions configured.

Thanks Thomas. GoDaddy says it must be a function of the version of
extensions that they have on their system and that they do not work on the
alias sites.Also, that they are not going to change their system. Guess I
have to find a better hosting service or use ftp to transfer files. I'll try
the latter, but it seems that I may loose some of the functionality of
FrontPage that way. RIght?

You can use FTP as long as you do not have the any FP webbots, such as forms or want to mange you
site on the live server via FP.
