When I lose power unexpectantly web pages no longer recognize that my computer has been there before. It is like the history has been wiped clean. I check history and everything is in there. It is like my history no longer associates with the links/web pages where I've been. Any ideas?

Hi,
You probably have a corrupted History folder.

Delete the damaged History folder- a new one will be created on restart.
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm

Or... Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder in Windows 9x,2K, XP.
