When I first installed Windows XP, my history folder
worked fine. It recorded every page I visited. After
doing all the Windows updates and service packs, my
history folder no longer works - it is empty. I check it
every day, but nothing ever appears there. I would like
to know how to get my history folder to work again.

Angie,
This can be caused by the ActiveX Control filters in McAfee AntiVirus. If
you disable the "Active X Controls" filter under the Internet Filters in
VirusScan 6.0 the IE History should work properly.

Your History folder may be damaged.
See: How To Delete the Internet Explorer Temporary Internet Files:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm
Note: Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder and a new one will be created when you restart.
