History: BUG (Hidden Feature) History erased if manipulate clock d

I discovered a security issue / bug / hidden feature in IE6

If you change the clock date backwards, and a short time later change it
back to today...

all of the history from that date to today is erased!

I think IE has to be running, and I guess when it "updates" the history, it
throws out future date entries.

I am XP SP1 w/ IE6 SP1.

(of course I discovered this in the worst possible way and now I don't have
any history for the past many weeks, and am not happy about it at all !!)

John,

Open IE, click on Help, click on Send Feedback... Send them the information
if you'd like. They might be interested.
