High CPU Usage while surfing the Internet

My cpu usage jumps to 95-100 percent when I open
webpages. This has only begun recently. I am running
Windows XP home edition with an Athlon 1800XP processor
with 512 RAM. Any information or advice would be greatly
appreciated.
 
Considering how much programming there is on many web pages, and how your
processor has to work to render it all, I don't see a problem.

Sounds like u have a bug in Web Pages.It started happening
to me whenever I opened a certain folder. I solved my
problem by deleting the folder.
