hidusb.sys corrupted

Hi, my NEC E680 went total dead, no hard disk, no cd detected, so I did the
next best thing; download the 6 floppy disks boot up for XP with SP2, but
when I reached the 4th disk, set up stopped due to human interface error
"file hidusb.sys is corrupted". Please advise, thks.
