I am unsure what you are not seeing/why you are not seeing it... but...
- Open *one* My Computer - everything else closed.
- Choose (from menu across the top) Tools --> Folder Options... --> View
tab
- Under the "Advanced Settings" section, you should find what you want...
"hiding-un-hiding files, showing file extentions etc" --> "Hidden Files
and Folders" -> "Show hidden files and folders" --> "Hide Extensions for
known file types" --> "Hide Protected Operating System files (Recommended)"
Or do you mean something else?
