Hiding Program Files folder content

By default, I used to receive a message whenever I clicked on the Program
Files folder whether I really wanted to view the contents of that particular
folder. I don't know what I did but I never receive that message anymore but
would like to again at this time. What do I have to do to make it do so
again? Thanks in advance.

Go to the Folder Options applet and click on the View tab.

a. Uncheck "Display the contents of system folders".
b. Uncheck "Show hidden files and folders".
c. Check "Hide protected operating system files" and click "OK" to the
dialog box.

Under My Computer, navigate to the folder in question. In the 'System Tasks' pane, Click on 'Hide
the contents of this folder'
