I'm having a brain fart moment.....

Can this be done?

To be clear I want to change the view settings for the folders, but not the contents of the folders. I want the contents (in this case its my music) to keep the view settings they have now, which are different to how I want the folders to be shown.

Ain't it a case of opening the folder, right click and "view" for each folder and/or subfolder?

I could do that yes. But I'm talking my music collection, which is hundreds of artist folders with album folders within each one of them.

I think I've got it tbh, its not exactly how I want it, but I'm being a bit fussy I think!
