For some reason programs that have icons that use to show up in the
toolbar/toolbox (the area next to the clock) have stopped being displayed!?!
I have
1: Right clicked on the tooolbar
2: Clicked on Proprities
3: Clicked on check box to "UN-CHECK" the check box that reads
[_]Hide Inactive Icons
And rebooted..
Yet the icons are still not being displayed..
So I then:
1: Right clicked on the tooolbar
2: Clicked on Proprities
3: Clicked on check box to "CHECK" the check box that reads
[x]Hide Inactive Icons
4: Clicked Customize
5: Changed all setting to: Always Show
And rebooted..
Yet they icons are still not being displayed!?!?!
The programs are running because they are listed in the
WINDOWS TASK MANAGER
PROCESSESS TAB
I did notice that the program listing in the :
Hide Inactive Icons \ Customize
area lists a number of programs that have been deleted from my system once
their DEMO/TRIAL time had expired.
Where is this info stored on the system so that maybe it is something there
is "LOCKED" and not allowing for changes to these settings?
