Hidden Taskbar buttons

Somehow I have hidden my taskbar buttons. When a window
is minimized it fades to the bottom left corner of the
screen.

The only way I can retrive the window is by using task
manager or the ALT+TAB hotkey.

I have reset many of the tool bar options to default in
hopes of restoring the windows.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Is the WHOLE Taskbar hidden (no Start button, clock, etc.) ? If this is the
case, put cursor at bottom of screen. If it becomes a two-headed arrow,
hold left mouse button to drag into view. Then right-click a blank area on
it and mark "Lock the Taskbar"
