Hidden media in a powerpoint show

I received a .pps file that had background music. When I changed the .pps to
a .ppt, I have been unable to locate the media file. In "Properties" no
media file is listed. How could background music be played with the show if
it is not listed? I figure it was hidden somewhere but I don't know how this
would be done and would like to learn how.

Frogstyle,
It may be hidden in the slide transition, go to the slide transition task
pane, next to sound see if there is one listed there.
Also it could be that the sound icon has been dragged way of the slide in
the surrounding grey zone. Reduce your zoom to 33% and see if you can locate
it.

I apologize. I found the answer in another post. The "hidden" file was a
transitition sound and I was able to extract it by saving as a web page.
Thank you!
