Hidden hit counter

I inserted a hidden hit counter but it only works for a little while. I'll
check it throughou the day and toward the end of the day it stops working.
Like it just gets stuck on that number?

Hit counters are a low-tech and unreliable way to track hits.

You are much better off just getting the log files for the server. Ask your
host.

You could also get a 3rd party tracker... but that would probably not be
hidden.
