hibernation

When computer goes into hibernation, it immediately hangs
and I have to power off to recover. Hiberfil.sys is
228404 megabites and I have 256mb of memory.
Hiberfile.sys was created by the system. Any susgestions?
 
Everythig refers to comming out of hibernation, I can't
get into hibernation.
