HIBERNATE MODE AND WIRELESS ADAPTER

running xp with sp 2, using linksys wmp54g wireless adapter and linksys
wrt54g wireless router
when my pc goes into hibernate mode - when it wakes up - it can not find ANY
wireless networks to connect to
reboot pc and all fine

is there some setting i need to set so that the adapter wakes up from
hibernation correctly? that is what i get form linksys- who confirmed my
router and adapter are fully functional

in mean time i have disabled hibernation (mine is only pc in house using it
- other 3 desktops and 2 laptops NEVER have a connection problem)

i apologize if an answer is already psoted in some thread that i am not
seeing - i am not a frequent or even casuel visitor - but this seemed like
the best vehicle to find assistance
thank you

Check your Power Scheme on the NIC and make sure the System/Computer not
configured to Shut the Device for Power Saving Option:
Right click My Computer >> Properties >> Hardware Tab Click Device manager>>
Expand [-] Network Adapter >> Right click your Wireless NIC select
Properties >> Click Power Management.

= Right click on the Desktop >> Select Properties >> on the Display
Properties click on Screen Saver then click Power Button and make your
changes there.
HTH.
