Hi-Speed USB Controller

I have a Sony DVD-burner. I hook up the usb cable and a message pops up on my
screen:
The USB Mass Storage Device is a HI-SPEED USB device and will function at
reduced speed when plugged into a non HI-SPEED port.

There are no HI-SPEED USB host controllers installed on this computer.
