Hi i have a questions about desktop .

When i put a desktop for background. the icons doesn't
blen into the desktop. the icons will have a border
around it so it doesn't look nice. i hope u guys
understand what i'am talking about because i don't know
how to explian it. Thanks for your help.

My computer/(right click)properties/advanced/performance
visual effects.
Have a look at those, especially the second from the bottom.
It's to do with icons and drop shadows.

On my computer i right click properties and i go to
desktop then i go to the color on desktop than the icon
changes to that color. i want the icons to blend in with
the desktop (wallpaper) and not have a border around the
icons so the icons will blend in with it. Anyways thanks
a lot.

Hi Shelly,

Right click on your desktop. Select, "arrange icons by". If there is a
checkmark next to "Lock desktop items", click to remove the checkmark and
your icon text should become transparent. (of course they'll no longer be
locked in place, but it's a trade off!)
