A got a fx5200td video card from asus.
my motherboard is an asus a7n8x-x rev 2 nforce 2 400
the bios version is 1007

I guess the fx5200td would be the V9520 TD
http://www.asus.com/prog/spec.asp?m=V9520/TD&langs=01#

Verry strange indeed
I downloaded Aida32 to see what it would tell me and it says mines running
in 8x..

In my bios I can disable AGP 8x Speeds.. Maybee this "option" is in yours
too (and disabled)..
Check under Advanced Chipset Features
It might (I dont have the -x version sorry) say AGP 8x Support
make sure that's set to enable..
