I installed windows XP to a computer that had windows 2000, I thought XP
would just remove 2000 automatically and now I have multiple operating
systems. Is there a way to remove windows 2000 only?
thanks.

That would only happen if the XP install is an upgrade version, and it will
say so on the label. All other versions, if they'll install at all to a
disk with another OS, will do parallel installs.

And there should have been some messages to this effect during the install.

Probably, but it's important to consider how exactly the install proceeded
and where the files went. Did you install to a different partition? Does
that partition have the XP Documents And Settings folder structure, or is
there just one partition and one Documents and Settings?

yes, it's on one partition and one document and settings folder. What should
I do now?
