Hep:CD writer driver required

P

Plus,net

I have an Optorite CD-RW 5201 CD writer, working on Windows XP. I have
looked on the Optorite website and cannot find the appropriate driver. The
writer will only write at 2x speed, rather than the capable 48x speed, using
52x speed disks.

Any help would be appreciated, particularly advice of where the driver cam
be found.

Many thanks in anticipation,

Dave.

Their is no such thing as drivers for CD writers as such, they are treated
as a standard CD ROM. WIN XP does have a built in writing capability but you
would be better using NERO or EZ CD these come with the writing driver built
in. I doubt that your drive or your drivers are faulty it may be the brand
of disk not all disks work with all writers at the correct speed.
