HELP!!!!!!!

I have the 2 microsoft office 2000 manufacturer cd's but
everytime I try to install it, itgets halfway thru and
stops; says "error 1386 (or something) cannot continue
installation, please contact procuct manufacturer for
assistance", why???

Have you contacted Microsoft? It sounds like that error is requesting you
to do so. They probably know something about the problem.
