I am having problem reinstalling Windows XP Home on my
notebook I keep on getting the error message "Setup had
determined that drive C: is corrupted and cannot be
repaired Setup cannot continue" I have already used a
disk utility/diagnostic from the disk manufacturer and
the scan says, "No error found" but everytime I try
reinstalling Windows XP it stops halfway and display the
error message above. Please help, any help will be
greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Find the make of the hard drive and go to their site and download a diag
utility program and if needed do a low level format.
