um yeah i ahve windows xp pro and i was wondering where
are the little picturers on the start menu when you
change it to the new way (called startmenu) i was just
wondering hwo do u get the little pictures ot display on
top of the start menu

Click the picture next to your user name on the Start Menu. Use the screen
that appears to view the user account images that ship with Windows XP
or to select any BMP or JPG image that you would like to use with your
account.

Using Windows Explorer, the images that come with Windows can be found
here:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\User Account
Pictures\Default Pictures
