my screen starts to shake alot when i'm on the computer
fo no apparent reason
 
would suggest you try another monitor. Just had to
replace a LCD that had this problem.

Also if this is not an LCD but a standard CRT monitor is
their a fan or any other electrical appliance (microwave)
that is running nearby?
