I have Windows Movie Maker version 2.1 amd Nero Vision Express 3. I have a
big problem. After I save my movie to my computer through movie maker, (I
have tried DV-AVI NTSC and High Quality Video Large NTSC setting), I try to
burn a DVD of my video through Nero under the burn a DVD video setting.
After I burn the DVD, I put it in my DVD player and it will not play. But it
will play in my computer. I have tried burning it many different ways and no
luck. Is it the program, or is it me? Please help!

It sounds like you are going through
the correct steps to create the DVD.

Some stand alone DVD players will
not play home made DVDs and it's
possible that you may have better luck
with different media.

I cannot say it would work for you and
I'm certainly not selling DVD blanks...
but I've had good luck with the following:

Verbatim DVD-R 16X

I on the other hand suspect he is not taking the right steps to create the
dvd.
I think he has made a data dvd which will play on a pc, but not actually
authroed a proper dvd-video.
Nero can make both types adn is not clear as to which one it is making, but
you need to author a dvd-video, and the files on the dvd disc should be two
folders Audio_TS and Video_TS, audio will be empty, video will have a
mixture of ifo/vob and bup files in it.
A data disc will just have the dv.avi or whatever burned to it.

Hi Graham...

You could be correct...but since he was
using NeroVision and he mentioned "DVD
video setting"...I thought he created a Video
DVD.

I guess the next step would be to explore the
completed DVD and see what it contains.
