HELP!

Can anyone help? Everytime I boot my system, a message
comes up saying "windows cannot find winlogin.exe. Make
sure you typed the name correctly and then try again. To
search for a file, click the start button and then click
search."

Any idea how to fix this? I can't seem to find a way
and microsoft has not been responsive. Thanks.

The file "winlogin.exe" is created by the "W32.Randex.E"
virus. Go to the link below which has information and
Removal Instructions for this virus. Pay special attention to:
5. Reversing the changes made to the registry (Windows
NT/2000/XP).

If you indeed have this virus update your virus definitions
and run a full scan and follow all instructions at the link
below for Windows XP.

Always use LATEST VIRUS DEFINITIONED ANTIVIRUS.

put in xp cd and boot to it and enter to setup f8 agree

and r to repair c:\windows and then get firewall up and
go get critical windows updates.
