I have no sound. I recently deleted evereything (don't ask why) and I need
the windows updates, and I need to figure out how to put the sound on.

Use a Restore Point from System Restore, back to before you deleted
everything. There's information in Help and Support off the Start Menu
regarding System Restore and how to use it. If you have additional issues,
you will get the best support posting to the
microsoft.public.windowsxp.general newsgroup. This one supports games on
XP.
