HELP!

My mother has windows XP and is trying to set up an internet connection to
Earthlink using her dial up modem (connected directly to her computer). When
I try to create a new connection to earthlink the internet connection wizard
will not allow me to setup the connection manually and allow me to select a
dial up modem for connection...the only option I can select is 'Connect using
a broadband connection that is always on'... is there any way to get around
this? I need to enter the phone number for earthlink to dial into the server
and I am unable to do so due to this travesty. I need some help.

New Connection Wizard | Getting Ready | Set My Connection Manually

I have used the new connection wizard and after I select 'Set my connection
manually' the wizard will not let me select 'Connect using a dial up modem'
(it is grayed out), I can only select 'connect using a broadband connection
that is always on'. I need to select using a dial up modem, how do I do so?
