Can anyone help me with a problem I have in Windows XP home edition?

I have set up a home network using the wizard but as soon as I did my
internet access stopped working. The connection itself through my ADSL
router still works ok but I can no longer view sites or access email etc.

Obviously something I've done in setting up the home netowrk has conflicted
with my internet settings but I have no idea what. I've tried rolling back
using nsystem restore but for some reason that never ever works.

Anyonbe who can help will have my everlasting gratitude!

Thanks

Ick! nasty one. I would check your new network - you may
have done something odd there. Also, are you running SP2?
That has lots of interesting querks that can be fixed
from a link on microsoft's web page somewhere...think
it's support.microsoft.com and then Service Pack 2 or
something...

Also, try re-installing your internet access the way you
did when you first set it up

Hope that helps

It is possible your home networking is messing with your
IP addresses and gateways. Does your router handle DHCP
for your PC. What is your IP address. I have yet to see a
home networking installation work properly. That would be
my guess. Home networking has changed your IP address and
your router no longer sees your PC.
