I've recently bought a new 4 port router (Belkin ADSL Wireless G+ MIMO Modem
Router) my old on packed up (ADDON ADSL Wire-connectivity 4 port). The
problem is that every thing is working i.e. all computers can connect to the
WEB okay and my son and daughters can connect to each other , but mine cannot
connect to their's and vice versa, Their computers show up in their "My
Network Places" but not on my comp when I try to set up the home or small
network through the Wizard it goes through the procedure all okay, but it
says unable to connect a home network. Please can some one help?

Paddy,

One of the most common causes of this problem would be a misconfigured or
overlooked personal firewall, or other security component. There are several
other possibilities too, and any might be the cause of your problem. Read this
article with an open mind.

Or we could look at "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each computer,
and diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked articles, and follow
instructions precisely (download browstat!):

Thanks a Million chuck click on the links you gave me and it was a great
help. It was wrecking my brains why I could'nt see the other computers but
with your help thats all okay now. cheers again.
