I can no longer install my updates from my McAfee Virus Scan. It will inform me that an update is available, but when I try to install I get an error message that says McAfee Security HTML Dialog has encountered a problem and will now close. I tried to reinstall the Virus Scan but I get the same error message. I also encounter a new problem when trying to restart or shutdown. It started at the same time as the Virus Scan problem, so I'm thinking they are related. It says that program mfjpca32.exe is not responding. I have no clue what that program is or how to locate or get rid of it. I tried running the adware scan but that didn't help. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Try the following scanning tools:

Download Ad-Aware 6.0 and scan your PC for spyware:

Symantec Security Check

Not sure if it's related, but I know Mcafee recently had a bad DAT update in
Groupshield that wreaked havoc on Exchange servers - may also be the problem
with their regular workstation product. Try downloading the latest SDAT from
their website and install it.
