HELP

when I open up Windows Explorer, click on any of
my drives (like clicking on the + next to C drive) explorer closes, I
then am at my desk top with nothing showing but my background, then my
icons refresh and things are okay.. UNTIL I try explorer again. Now.. I
can go to MY COMPUTER, and look at my files just fine. Any ideas?

Do you have a USB removable storage drive, e.g. a Pen Drive, plugged in??

Yes but I disconnected the device and I removed the driver. It was a usb to
COMport device.
