Help!!!!!!!

Just me

I normally keep my laptop sound muted. I want to turn it on again and
couldn't find the volume control. After digging, I found that there is
no "device" installed. WTF?
Please reply to the group and to my email.

No will it hasn't. Had some clusters go bad on the HD, possibly
couldn't recover that. I don't use sound a lot, but now and again, I do
use it. any more ideas?
