Help!

I deleted the contents of my Temp folder and ever since then, when I start
IE it just hangs and I have to kill it in Task Manager. Does anyone know
whats going on and what I can do to fix it?

It's IE 6 on XP Home SP1.

This has proved useful in some cases:
Go to Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced options tab and
disable third-party browser extensions.
