You should create sub-folders of Local Folders not the Inbox and Sent
Items.

Well, guess what. All of my sub-folders are under my in-box folder. The
sub-folders contain my saved messages of information that I have decided to
keep. I'm not having any problems having the sub-folders under my in-box,
but its one of those simple things that you would like to put right if you
can. To make new folders and copy & paste the contents of the old folders
into the new, later deleting the old, seems long and tedious. Does anyone
know of a quicker method? TIA.

Click and drag the folder to "Local Folders", or to whatever folder
you'd like them to be a subfolder.

An OE group might have more ideas..

Hi WMB,

Most all of my own sub-folders are located under my Inbox in Outlook
Express, because none of my E-mail Accounts are web-based like Hotmail.com.

The Inbox is my situation is a local Folder, not Web-based E-mail. It
does not hurt in my situation to have the folders under the Inbox.

But, if I wanted to change it, it is very simply. Drag and Drop to the
new location.

I have several Outlook Express Identities. Why? If you only have one,
Identity then you are at the peck and call of luck if anything should happen
to the Store Folder.

For Example: I have Store Folders for each year of mail in Outlook
Express.

But everyone has their own way of saving E-mails. It is their own
computer. I can't tell anyone how to save E-mails or into which folder that
the Email goes in. It is what makes each person happy. One can only make
suggestions.

Thanks for the reply Elmo, I will check a OE group and later try your
suggestion. Thanks again.
