Help with USB 2.0 Portable HardDrive problem

Help!

I have a desktop PC (with ASUS P4P800S M/B and P-4 2.8GHz CPU) running
Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 1 and all of the fixes.

I have a Pocketec USB 2.0 DataStor portable hard drive (from
www.pocketec.net) which all of a sudden does not work with the PC anymore.
It used to work perfectly. Now whenever I plug-in this portable drive into
the PC's USB 2.0 port (a built-in port, not the port of a USB hub), Windows
XP gives the error:

"Error in wzcdlg.dll. Missing entry:FlashConfigCreateNetwork"

However, under XP's "My Computer", I do see the icon "DATASTOR (M:)" for the
drive, but if I double click the icon, I will simply get the above error
message again. Can't access to anything on the drive.

This portable drive has a 30GB Fujitsu hard drive formatted in XP's NTFS and
has about 25GB worth of data on it. And on my laptop running Windows 2000
Professional with Service Pack 4, it still works perfectly (no above error,
no file access problem).

Help! What the above error from XP is all about?

Regards,
James

When this error from XP happens, there is a new entry in the XP's Event Log:

"The system failed to flush data to the transaction log. Corruption may
occur"
