Help with Steam problem (cs:s)

Hi, just installed CS: S and when i load up Counter strike and try to look for servers it only finds 200 maximum, overall. Once i go to enter a server, the latency suddenly shoots up to over 1000 and it says that there are no users in the game.

Please help ASAP

It might just be a temporary problem - but do check you don't have any filters selected (for example only USA/Asian server only or something).

Yeh i was thinking that...but i had the old half life where you had to get the add on for normal counter strike and it had the same problem. That was on my laptop and now i have just had belloni build my new computer and it worked fine at a m8's house but now it doesn't want to work lol
