The host 'smtp' could not be found Please verufy that you entered the server
name correctly. Account pop3 server smtp protcol smtp, port 25 secure ssl no.

Your ISP will have an online guide to setting up email for Outlook
Express. It's important to follow each step carefully. Pay special
attention to the ports used for both inbound/outbound mail servers.

You need to post in an Outlook Express newsgroup...and, your email doesn't
work because your settings are incorrect.

I always love these seemingly abusive replies. And then they put a bit of
food out there to tease with.

Help the poor freakin person. It is not that hard, is it?

[X-post to OE General]

Contact your ISP for the correct settings to use in OE, Ken.

If you're trying to access a free (i.e., not ISP-based) Yahoo account in OE
and it's a US- or CA-based account, you'll have to be a Yahoo Plus
subscriber to do so.

You must have an Internet service Provider email account set up to use
Outlook Express.
That will be your user account and password with your Internet provider, AT
& T, whatever.
You also need incoming and outgoing Mail servers to send/receive mail.

Contact them regaring the proper settings.

If you are trying to do this with a Yahoo Account, PABear has answered you.
