Let me see if I can clairify this correctly.

I blew the power supply in my tower. I pulled the hard drive and installed
it in a kit. Everything still seems to be on the hard drive from the tower.

The problem I am having is I am trying find my old e-mails and contacts and
I can't. I am not sure if I am looking in the right place or not. I have
gone through every folder and still can not find them.

HELP!!!!!!

Thanks

Lori

Go to Start, Control Panel, Folder Options, View,
Advanced Settings and verify that the box before "Show hidden files and
folders" is checked and "Hide protected operating system files " is
unchecked. You may need to scroll down to see the second item. You should
also make certain that the box before "Hide extensions for known file types"
is not checked. Next in Windows Explorer make sure View, Details is selected
and then select View, Choose Details and check before Name, Type, Total
Size, and Free Space.

In Windows Explorer search using "*.dbx" as the search criteria. Does this
find your inbox.dbx file? Try a new identity and see if your messages will
import into the new identity. Otherwise see here
