When I click on the "Send/Receive" button on my Outlook
window is receive a pop-up message that says "The
operation failed". My toolbar shows there is an new
message but I don't see it in the "inbox". I tried a test
send/receive, sending a message to myself. It appeared in
my outbox, then was received in my inbox and also showed
up in the "sent items" folder. Any idea why the error
message is showing and why the message received icon is
remaining on my toolbar even though there doesn't seem to
be a new message? (I am definately connected to the
internet).

Hi - probably best to post this in an Outlook newsgroup; this one is for
Win2000 issues. microsoft.public.outlook is a good one.
