Help with installing a program

I removed a program using the Add/remove programs. and now I want to
reinstall it from the cd however I get error massage that says I must first
remove this program before I install it but I have already removed it. I
searched for this program under find files and remove everything that had
that program name on it but still it wont let me reinstall it. For some
reason it thinks I have not removed it.
 
Contact the manufacturer of the program. Sometimes they have removal tools
that you can download. They do this when they know they f***ed up with their
program!
